Parents

Idk if this is a vent or not but my parents really confuse me

I feel like my dad has a lot of internalized racism or something because I've heard him say weird slightly racist things before, and my mom is all left wing pro LGBTQ pro Palestine pro whatever but 2 days ago both of my parents were using the B slur like it was nothing, mind you, none of us are even a LITTLE bit Hispanic. My parents act like they know what they're doing, and they tell me how I should be doing things, but clearly I'm doing something better with my life because I'm not jokingly saying slurs that I CANNOT reclaim.
