Doctor Who's bottle episodes are typically just because of budget restraints, but even with the Disney money they still kept true to their spirit of only stimulating the viewer with terrifying stakes and a lot of conversation. A death or two fits nicely.
Ncuti is also such a fun doctor to watch, there's something distinct about him compared to other incarnations - Ten wouldn't soothe himself with a Scottish ditty would he? He's fashion-forward, prone to drama and loves scaring kids. I love 15 already! Even though the episode despises clericalism it still emphasises the beauty of faith, fatherhood being awesome & the horrors of AI, which the British government don't get.
Poor Moffat, being dragged out the cage by the BBC again, though.
