Above pictured is my try-on haul from Goodwill this may. PLEASE don't mention my messy ass bedroom, I'm self-aware of my chaos. I'm unemployed right now, so I was actually shopping on an old Visa gift card that a relative gave me for Christmas2023! I went to a Goodwill further from my house than the one I would usually frequent, so I was happy to find some absolute STEALS in the racks. I'm pretty sure it's because the area is full of older people and they're throwing away these sexy sexy finds.
FINE!! I'll acknowledge my striped clothing addiction. Vertical or horizontal, I love me some stripes. But for the record, I do think vertical look better. The red and black long-sleeved crop-top is kindly giving sexy Freddy Kreuger. I also got my first pair of booty shorts, with the gold-sequined pockets that stick out of the bottom. I've recently started to finally become a bit self-confident, so I might wear those shorts to pride this year! I had to buy some shorts regardless because its summertime in the south and I'm sweating my ass off.
The Happy Bunny shirt says "Crazy doesn't even begin to cover it," and it was shown to me by the friend I was thrifting with. She couldn't wear it personally but she real recognizes real and she pointed it out to me. Crazy really doesn't begin to cover it because I DON'T LIKE LABELS! Anyway, I've been keeping my eye out for scene girl shirts so it was nice to find.
Finally, we'll acknowledge the DOC IMITATOR CLOMPERS!!! High quality-feeling, white in color and IN MY SIZE! I nearly shit my pants when I saw them on the rack. $7.99 for what would cost me $60+ at an ordinary retailer. I love boots for their ankle support and stomping power, so this was such a win for me. I may customize them a little bit. I'd like to put a fun eye decal/design on the toe because I think it would be funny for my feet to stare back at me.
I had a nice time thrifting even though it was hot as balls. I went through my dresser and re-filled the big ass plastic bag they gave me with old clothes I didn't need. I'll take them back to the Goodwill when I go next time. It'll make me feel good to directly complete the cycle!!!
