I kind of like having images of extremely skinny women because it gives me something to strive for. If you start to hate yourself from seeing other people then maybe some part of you does realize that you're eating too much and if you wanted to you could look like them if you put the fork down. Getting offended by imagery of a standard you fail to meet is a hilarious self report. And no, this isn't pro ana or anything I just think some of you all are really sensitive to women who are just doing their jobs. None of you even actually come at it from a feminist point of view anyway because you don't even know that these super models are all high class """escorts""" because males run these industries and enjoy looking at women who are close to corpse in size. Said males are sick in the brain themselves, it's a power thing too.
I am 'dieting' (i.e. not eating a full 3 meals a day bc it's literally too much for most women) because I am already well on my way to looking like that just through my own decisions but I don't think I'm currently horrible looking just because I'm not a size 0 (goals tho lmao). It's the childlike curiosity of wondering what my bone structure looks like when I reach 100lbs which is still a healthy weight for my height. I appreciate the pushback and embracing of 'impossible' beauty standards because in a way you divide yourself between the people who whine and continue to look how they look, people who go too far (they would have been mentally ill with something else anyway), the people who will strive for something, and the people immune to capitalist propaganda. I am somewhat in between the last two, only leaning into the striving because I am vain. I look good already and will look even better in my size 0 VS costume!
