Dog Eat Dog Food World - Niko B Review

Dog Eat Dog Food World is British rapper Niko B's debut album.

1. Trespass Coat - As per most songs in Niko B's discography this song consists of fun dance music with Niko B rapping over it. This song has an addictive baseline with a crazy groove his witty lyrics and laid-back vocals really put it all together. I really like how in this album he delves deeper into his experience with drug usage and how his mother reacts to it. More specifically he talks about his experience with marijuana (which is illegal in the UK making him a thug)

2. I've smoked weed 9 times and have had one good experience - In this song, he further explores his experience with weed and talks about how his mother found his marijuana making for a funny song. Niko B showcases his storytelling skills further in this song talking about how marijuana makes him anxious. The beat is more laid-back and is closer to a hip-hop beat but it is not there yet as you can still definitely feel the dance music in it. 

3. ur a bundle of joy! - This song has a very funky baseline and is more percussive instead of having any kind of hard drums. A funky guitar lick plays in the background along with a sound I can't put my finger on I can't tell if it's a piano or a pad sounds amazing nonetheless. He also mentions again his experiences with marijuana in this song. I really like the chorus and it sticks in your head like you wouldn't believe. He shows more storytelling in this song while also having fun wordplay in his lyrics.

4. Boarded the Plane - This track is my favorite in the album it has such an addictive beat. It has a really funky guitar lick with really nice dance drums. He explores the question of what he would do if he had to fly a plane. He really shows his cockiness in this song as he talks about how he would be able to fly a plane by just using the logic of how he would drive a car. This song is overall fun and definitely a great listen. If you listen to it there is a high chance it will get stuck in your head
