hey spacehey dot com, trogo here with some music recommendations. :-) more specifically, artists in metal and rock including or entirely made up of women. regarding this topic, most recommendations i’ve seen submitted by other people on the web typically only include women in nu metal like the all-women band kittie and powerhouse frontwoman otep. and i just can’t let that be. you see, the idea of such skilled musicians being swept under the rug thaws at the frost enveloping my unyielding heart. though the gatekeeper in me wishes to keep it that way. oh, well, i’ve already begun writing the post so i might as well complete everything!
to preface: this is not, in any way, shape or form, meant to reduce these artists to the basis of their gender, but rather to spread influence to a larger audience, because despite their contributions to the genre, women in metal and rock often remain unacknowledged in this male-dominated field. and though i would love to sit here and talk about their many contributions and impact to their respective genres and scenes, i simply do not have the time to go on a deep dive regarding their intricate histories. hence, i’ll be redirecting you to this well-written post made by V4N.
additional note: unfortunately my brain is not capable of processing every sliver of information within a microsecond, so i might be unaware of an artist’s history. if they have done something sketchy, feel free to tell me in the comments and i’ll remove their name. thanks.

i’ve listened to scarling before, about 3 years ago or so. they didn’t really stand out to me, but i’m fond of ‘who wants to die for art?’ :-)

Yea!!!! Honestly I’d suggest H/C and Black Horse Riding Star more since it’s semi more like her old stuff with JOJ and you seem to like that!
