Rollercoaster.

this is my first poem pls don't bully me:p

I wish I wasn't a roller coaster, a fleeting thrill in the amusement park of their lives. They come for the rush, the excitement, the momentary escape, but they never stay. To some, I am breathtaking, a beacon of joy and exhilaration. To others, I am a nightmare they can't wait to escape. I see their faces light up as they approach, only to turn away, disheartened, when the ride ends. The laughter and the fleeting moments of connection – they all fade away, leaving me alone in the stillness of the night. They know where to find me, yet they never linger. I yearn to be more than a temporary thrill, more than a fleeting moment in their lives. I long to be the place where they find safety, where they want to stay. But in the end, I am just a roller coaster, a ride they take when they need a break, a distraction, a thrill. And when it's over, they walk away, leaving me to wait for the next rider, the next fleeting moment of connection, the next heartbreak. I yearn to be more - to be seen.
