Hope in 40K

Hope and Warhammer 40k seem like oil and water

You dont have to know the deepest parts of lore in warhammer to understand that the universe of 40K is bleak, war, death, starvation, all bad things happening are happening in warhammer 40k and even worse with the Chaos Gods who break people beyond the concepts of death. (Its a bit edgy I know but thats 40k's thing) But is there hope in this world? Its hard to look since with every sliver of hope there seems to be the looming doom that it will all be for nothing.

However the hope that we have is the Imperium, despite all the war, death, carnage, and the unstoppable forces of chaos, Humanity still holds some kind of order, some kind of power, despite them being pretty squishy and weak they still prevail with their will and strengths.

This would be nice if they werent insanely totalitarian and xenophobic but hey atleast they still have SOME order gotta give them that

(Theres also the Tau who are probably better with quality of life than the imperium lol)
