✶⋆.˚꩜Bad night at IHOP .ᐟ˙⋆✶

Soooooooooo, today was one of my older brother's graduation!!! I was super proud of him, and even more proud about his idea of enrolling in the NAVY.

After the ceremony, we went out to eat with the family. It took a while to find a nice place to sit and eat, considering it was late and we weren't the only family that had that idea. Eventually-we came across an IHOP in Beaumont. We got seated quickly- which was new for us that night.

-But, maybe we had our hopes up too quickly, because the moment we made it over to the table, we had to clean it off. Not rare, considering how it was Texas and underpaid workers didn't really have the time to do that AND worry about the three other families in there. We came across a really nice waitress, (I'll call her Donna) and she was obviously new there. She was also the only waitress really working, but there was two of them there. Anyway, Donna was stressed out, we could see it all over her face, and after taking our orders...she accidently deleted them on the tablet she used to take them. So she had to do it again. Of course, we didn't mind, she was new afterall, her first night there. Now, the chef's irked our nerves. First of all, we waited nearly an hour for our food. Momma ordered some appetizers- fried onion rings and chicken tenders. The onion rings were BURNT. And the chicken tenders...? RAW (#°Д°)

I'm not even joking. Soooo, already starting off bad. I got chocolate-chocolate pancakes, got the wrong order. Lil' sis ordered a burger--IT NEVER CAME. Lil brother probably had it best. He got his full plate of strawberry and banana pancakes with no complaints. He in fact is the only one who didn't complain about his food. Remember how I said WE as a family went out to eat? Yeah, the entire family was pretty much complaining about something. THEN we got a whole plate we did NOT even think about ordering. The "STeak", was nearly unbreakable. We nearly took two minutes to break some pieces off.

It's not all bad, we have a happy ending. (I would call it that) Donna, the waitress, gave her a few tips. It wasn't her fault, and it seemed like everyone was trying to put the blame on her. The manager pretty much said the next time if we ever come back, everything was on him. But, tonight was funny, I would say. Especially since we have NEVER had a situation like this before (:
