How to make your own spells

Disclaimer: this is how i personally make spells, and just because this is how i do it doesn't means this is how you have to do it. make it your own!! Dance!! sing!! have fun with it!!

Lets began...

i like to think of a spell as a recipe. The correspondences that i add, as well as the herbs, are my ingredients. Everything i do adds onto the intention.

But now lets get to how the actual process comes along

1.) Identify the meaning or propose of the spell. this will be your intention.

Identifying the propose of the spell is a great way to start out, then you can surround everything else around this intention. For the propose of this post, lets say we're doing a love spell.

2.) Now that you have your intention: find out the time of your spell.

Although i believe it doesn't personally matter what time of day you preform a spell on, i do believe that if you put in a little extra work you'll be rewarded. so if we're doing a love spell it might be appropriate to do it in the daytime (daytime because the sun can represent love and joy), and it might also be good to do it on a Friday (Friday because this is the day of Aphrodite, the goddess of love)

3.) find herbs with the same intention

so now that we've got the time of the spell, we should find the right herbs to add. In my practice, herbs are very important. So for a love spell i would add rosemary, rose petals, and Himalayan salt, catnip, flowers (these all have love properties)

4.) find any other objects that might give strength to the spell

you can use objects other than herbs in your spells, i love to find objects other than herbs to use in my workings. so for a love spell, i would try to find a lot of pink, i would use pink wax to maybe pour on the spell bottle to seal the intention, i would cut out pink hearts to add into the wax. Theres a lot of ways to add magical properties to the mundane!!

5.) Now that we done. Find out where to put it

you can put your spell workings anywhere. for baneful workings i like to put them somewhere where it cant see light. or for love spells i would put them in the sunlight to soak up some love!! its really up to you though!!

Thanks for reading!! thats my process on how to make spells, i really hope it helps!!
