thou shall not call me oldth! there's always a feeling that whenever I watch an old asian film they always have the best cinematography and storyline?! don't get me wrong I love Hollywood too but like foreign directors actually do better than western directors seriously.
fallen angels and chungking express are a big example of good ol' asian movies directed by the WONG KAR WAI. people are sleeping on him just because of his greeny arsenic-looking coloring but the film got a 5-4 ratings in letterboxd.

I’ve been planning to watch both of the films u mentioned and funny fact but I watched a local romance film recently that came out in like 2004 and the main characters fall in love because this guy gave a girl a copy of Chungking Express for free in which he slipped in a paper with his number on it
