REVIEWING POST HUMAN: NeX GEn

Bring Me The Horizon's newest album is actually amazing; I can't find myself actively disliking any of the songs. BUT... I do think some of them are not as good as others. Here's the opinion and rating of each song:

1. [ost] dreamseeker :
   Just a small 20 second opening track, nothing crazy about it. The flow into the next entry is great though.

2. YOUtopia :
   The intro combined with the buildup provided by entry 1 makes this track one of the best on the album, instantly went into my playlist upon first listen.

4. Top 10 staTues tHat CriEd bloOd :
   Not really my style when it comes to metal. I could totally see this blowing up back in 2020, the happy melodies make me want to dance around with some friends instead of kill people.

   LITERALLY SENT SHIVERS DOWN MY SPINE. IF I COULD TATTOO A SONG, THIS WOULD BE IT. IF I COULD EAT A SONG, THIS WOULD BE THE ONE. IF I COULD BECOME A SONG, THIS WOULD BE THE ONE.

6. DArkSide :
   Banger after banger so far. This is also an AMAZING track, one of my favorites. The lyrics are emo as fuck and the melodies make me want to dye my hair black and put on eyeliner (in a good way). Must listen.

   This song is very much not my style. More of a personal preference than a fault of the track, it is totally up to par with the rest of the album.

   Another transitional track, kinda boring if im being brutally honest, and 2 minutes of it? eh.

13. AmEN! (feat. Lil Uzi Vert and Daryl Palumbo of Glassjaw) : 
    FIREEEEEEEEE. One of the few songs even my brother, who isn't into metal at ALL, likes. The lyrics are hard as fuck and the intro is INSANE. Huge W.

ALBUM RATING: 8.5/10

Great album, POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR still SOLOS, but that's just my taste. (don't even get me started on Sempiternal)

Sorry but nothing's beating Kingslayer for at least a decade.
