i have several thoughts i must get out
-how far east can you go before you are west again? i have asked this multiple times in my friends' discord but like seriously where's the threshold. why is america a "western country". is it not just as far east as the "eastern countries" are. where's the point of reference we're measuring these directions from.-what is it with fantasy universes and every different species being racist towards each other. and why is it never handled right. dungeon meshi anime has been fucking amazing but why are so many characters blatantly racist for no reason
-why is it so much easier to translate certain languages compared to others? i mean technically speaking it's all just sounds we made up to represent stuff. we should be able to figure it out eventually right?? google translate turning like "my fork fell on the floor" in japanese into A Goat's Tongue Scrapes An Orange in english is insane
-how did every single culture i can think of come up with dragons individually?
