so i was making pancakes today and while making them i was thinking of waffles and then i thought "wait what are waffles and panckes?" like are they a dairy product or a frozen food? or are they their own category of food.i mean i could just look it up but i decided to ask you guys.what do you think waffles and pancakes are?.

hmmmmmm i think they're like- cakes that are socially acceptable to eat for breakfast or as a meal because theyreeeeeee less yummy than normal cakes? yeah sounds about right - less good cakes that are deemed ok as a meal because uhhhh they're thinner
i never really thought of the possibility of them being cakes this is a real mind opening discovery thank you.

i tried to think like what they are, they're made of batter and for the most part the only thing made of batter with that kind of turnout would be cake! other choice would be bread, but bread's made of dough which would kinda ruin the food group since they'd be made differently

when trying to think of what food group waffles and pancakes could fit in i only thought of bread because i totally forgot that waffles and pancakes are made from batter :skull:
