would commissions be a good idea?

i think trying like actual commissions this summer might be interesting??? i still live with parents (obviously lol im only 16. age reveal btw) so i would only price them like up to 5 dollars or something... but there's a lot to consider!!! so if anyone has any input id appreciate it greatly

the problems:

-first off i don't know how to do taxes + how do taxes even work for online commisions???

-im literally the most awkward person in the world i will get way too excited and then be so weird...

-ive literally only done commissions in animal jam lmao. so i dont know how you show people progress pictures and stuff like how frequently do you send them. do u just ask for tweaks on the sketch and coloring stage or what..?

-i suck at setting uo accounts. my plan would be kofi but do they even let minors set up kofi accounts???

-to do previously mentioned taxes i'd have to tell my parents i would be drawing commissions... and i'd be fine with showing them some object show stuff, they might find it weird, but that's ok. but i am a furry first and foremost (and i often incorporate furry elements to my osc drawings anyway) and i'd rather keep that private lol

the good parts:

-it would be cool and a good learning experience

-i get headaches and am tired easily and hate interfacing with people so i would definitely struggle with traditional jobs on my own/in college. this would be good training

-i might improve in understanding how comissions work and stuff so i'd get better over time but also like im. bad at understanding anyway and might get worse anyway. i hope i would get better though

-i love drawing for people!!! i take requests but im not very popular anywhere and most people are too shy to give requests anyway... maybe some people would feel less bad asking for a request if they were paying me for it i guess?

-i wouldnt have to admit every time im talking about comissions that it's actually animsl jam. i could be doing them for real...
