I haven't seen a single funny jojo fan. And before anyone comes for me I'M ONE MYSELF. The jokes are so repetitive; kakyoin donut, it was me dio, jotaro likes dolphins and kokichi more then joylene and those are just at the top of my head.
I would understand it if it was a younger person making them and I don't wanna be pissed at kids that are having fun, but when every single conversation is them repeating these jokes, only commenting them and ignoring any other ones. It's unfunny. Genuinely.
Other then the jokes I feel like some of the ships are very weird. The most popular one being jotakak, personally it's not my thing they don't have that type of connection imo but it crosses a certain line when they start really making it ... yk (ex. the horse fanfic). But those aren't really harmful unless a person makes them like that.
Another popular one is giomista which is just plain bad with the fact Giorno is a 15yr old and Mista is 18. I'm not going to go into the ethics of it but you probably see why it's bad.
Next is people who just water down a characters traits to an issue they have, which I feel like is most seen in golden wind (ex. fugo's just an angry traitor; narancia is a "silly autistic kid" etc..)
The fact that they dislike stone ocean bcz of jolyne. They either dislike her cuz she's a woman or blame her for the universe reset (I love stone ocean).
I have a bunch more things, but I don't want to bore anyone.

I agree especially with the ships. The jokes get old(like the “All jojos fans are gay” or the “there are no jojo fans who r women” type stuff) but I can get by that; and seeing how popular Giorno x Mista or the Adult x Minor fics are kinda shocked me lol—even all the incest fics. I understand that it’s the same for every single fandom out there so I just try to ignore those things for the most part. I am upset that ppl skip part 6 tho. The ending left me in genuine shock and I thought it was really good.
i absolutely can't stand the 'theres no female jojo fans' mfs since most of them actively hate on women not only in it (hence skipping stone ocean/calling jolyne weak) but irl too, it's crazy and i feel like this fandom in its self has more questionable people then the other ones I've interacted/been in, but that might just be my experience

Exactly. For an anime that has only a couple confirmed lgbtq+ characters its so strange that everyone get called gay for watching it. And hating on the women characters always throws me lmao it makes no sense.

I love Stone Ocean so much!!!!! I swear people skip over when it's genuinely one of my fav parts with my fav jojo.
real, i get they don't like the netflix animation (concidering the fact they put it out in 3 parts for some reason
) but hating it bcz of female mcs is absolutely insane to me
