one of my other trans friends told me his mom would let him change his name legally (Hi Zach if you seein this) and start testosterone

My parents keep saying there is all the medical checks and stuff and we have to ask my doctor and sh*t before i can actually start hrt and they’re like “Well sometimes you change your mind so we just have to make sure” but it feels like they don’t really understand how important it is to me.
