I'm a big fan of House of Leaves, which had a surge in fandom bc it was trending or smthn, and like. I have mixed feelings about that but omll I hate people who join a fandom only to cause discourse and then leave the fandom after stirring up shit. It makes everyone else so much more jaded and less likely to take new fans seriously, overall leading to people being kicked out of fandom for things they didn't do. I'm not advocating for people to not jump on bandwagons, but like.... I feear that everyone needs to learn (OR RELEARN!!) fandom etiquette.
I hate "trend" fandoms.
