Some Of My Favorite Horror Remakes

There's most definitely more Im forgetting but these are like from the top of my head. theyre not really listed in any real order, just listed as they came to mind

1. Texas Chainsaw (2003/06) - i LOVEEE texas chainsaw, and although 03/06 has a very different feel compared to the original series, i adore it. I really love how grotesque and grimy it feels, it really sets a scene. 1974 version is by far the best version, it is one of the few horror movies that constantly makes me uncomfortable and uneasy every rewatch. I wont lie I'm not a fan of part 2:p but i do like part 3, part 4 is like.. dont even mention it... i havent watched 3D or Leatherface but they are on my watchlist. and also the netflix remake is so just ughhhh i dislike it so much, just trying to put a "gen z twist" on things which they can never get right :p

2. House Of Wax - I won't lie, I haven't seen the original yet, HOWEVER i love this movie so much. I love Bo and Vincent as characters, Lester too even tho we don't see him all that much. Vincent scared tf out of me the first time I watched it, and I love the soundtrack sososoo much. One of those 2000s horror movies I cant help but rewatch every few months

3. RZ Halloween - Sadly I am only referring to the first one </3 I tried so hard to like the second one but it just confused me. I watched it when I was like 14 so maybe I need to try to rewatch it or something. ANYWAYS I adore this movie, I love how it goes into Michael's home life, him as a character, his time at Smith's Grove, truly shows his disregard for human life, shows he just wanted to be with his sister again THEY COULD NEVER EVERRR MAKE ME HATE YOU RZ MICHAEL !!!!! i truly am not too sure why so many people hate this one, I actually like it more than John Carpenter's :p

4. It - I think It 2017 is one of the most iconic horror remakes of all time. the CHOKEHOLD it had on every kid when it came out. I really do love it, even if it's not the scariest thing to me now, it freaked me tf out when I was like 12. I love the dialogue for the kids, it just sounds so natural, it doesn't sound forced or cringe asf. Don't hate me but I am not a fan of the original It :p It's just so long, I love Tim Curry in it, he did amazing, but idk I couldn't get super into it as a movie :ppp
