Self-Parm day

I see that many people are commenting that today is Self-Harm Day, and since many don't know what they are talking about, I'll give you a little context here.

It turns out that on a day like today in 2013, Gerard Way (lead singer of My Chemical Romance) decided to tweet about stopping self-harm.

Technically, tomorrow would be the official day proposed by him, but today was the day of the controversy, as many thought Gerard was taking the issue of self-harm lightly.

Aside from that, I believe what he meant was to take a bit of positive things to distract oneself or see an improvement in that behavior.

Gerard has experienced this situation in the past so he knows that although a sanditch doesn't solve all the problems, focusing on the little things can make a difference.

Anyway, thanks Gerard for sharing your experience and providing support to people who are not having a good time.
