There's a secret in these pockets

I saw this leather jacket on a clothing rack at an antique mall this past weekend. I grabbed the sleeve, with the black stitching, because I loved how it looked and wanted to see how much it cost.

When I saw the price tag, it said on it, "Evanescence jacket, $35" I verbally said "There's NO WAY?!" they're one of my favorite bands, but Evanescence is a word outside of the band so it just has to be a coincidence, right? Well, wrong. I turned it over and saw their logo on the back!

I knew then that I needed it, so I put it on to see if it fit, and it fit perfectly. It was my size, my style, everything. I then put my hands in the pockets and felt something in the left pocket. When I pulled it all out, it was none other than three condoms that expired in 2012 and three starbursts!

I laughed at how absurd the find was, and also with how fitting it felt. A 2000s metal band jacket with expired condoms in the pocket? It made sense lmao

Also, I'd JUST seen them live in concert on Friday, then found this jacket two days later on Sunday at an antique store 20 minutes from my house (even though I could've gone to one 3 minutes away). It was definitely a wild coincidence, but it seems like it's meant to be, and I love that.
