The Oasis

The Oasis

I couldn’t think right, my mouth watered, I wanted his body, to lick and suck every crease where his scent pooled.

It was like a venom, the more I drank the worse my symptoms got, with no cure I could only fall deeper into my lustful madness. the only sound, the pounding in my stomach. The only sight through glazed eyes, his pink skin in which I gorged myself with. I drove my fingers deep and my tongue traced his form for my teeth to pin down, like a cartographer marking each monument he stumbles upon so that when he returns this land will be familiar grounds. Like a shark following a path of blood, I take the quickest route, south, where the waters are warmer and fruit sweeter and he is waiting for me.

there,

tall but the sun hasn’t touched,

there,

finally the path ends the migration over the final destination in my journey.

In my private Oasis, he greets me.

Wet hair against white sandy beaches, my body relaxes, I open my mouth only to whimper out.

“oh beautiful boy for whom I travelled far, can you cure my sickness of lust? may I eat your fruit to ease my pain? May I drink from your Oasis? Dip my fingers in its warm waters and trace its raised edge. I promise I’ll walk lightly”

I brush my hands against his wild grass

like laughter, the dew droplets fall caressing your form. Oh Oasis I can hardly believe myself, my body aches my clothes are mere threads so as I come to you, bow, before you, I beg to breathe your sweet air before my fire consumes me, body and soul.

He comes to me, waves ripple, he is tall, strong and captivating. I watch the sea flow off his back, like varnish on a painting, a masterpiece still wet from fresh paint coloured like sunsets off Mediterranean coast. His attention moves to me,

I clench my belly and my throat tightens ready for tears but met instead with sweet white honey. My lips glossed I lean to kiss him, to finally kiss him, my head against his I let out a gasp I didn’t know I was holding in. "Oh Oasis,

there are you my sweet Oasis. little death awaits me now

i know I'll find you there."
