Organs - Waste - Excrement

Everyday that passes I find myself more and more enchanted by the parts that make up the singular whole that is the human body.

As a child, a younger person, a teenager; I was truly disgusted by excrement but I find now in my current age I understand the true value of it as a medical and diagnostic tool.

Sure, it is disgusting, but it is one of the ways we get to glimpse under the hood of our body near daily.

As one who once found themselves to be a foolish hedonist I have seen my body produce many a strange passage and relied on such to determine if I needed to seek professional help. To simply be able to tell that my stomach lining has began to bleed due to my stool being a rich, tarry black is a gift that has kept me from seeing death again and again.

I believe that to engage such material willingly is to signify an issue however, those obsessed with such a topic in a way beyond fascination... 

Truly distasteful to me...

Though I suppose in a way that is also a part of the beauty of humanity; how disgusted I can feel by behavior deemed natural by those who carry it out.

Eegh.

Anyway, if you feel anything is off with your body I always encourage seeking medical help. You never know what could be doing what until you get a mechanic to peek under the hood for you, however that may happen.
