DARKNESS 3/04/2019
Deep, filled with nothingness
And nobody is there but me
Reel away, avoid the light
Keep away, I don't want to hurt anybody
Nobody needs to see the darkened side of me
Escape me while you still can
Stay out of my poisoned mind
Still, you came into my life and tried to save me from my mind.

"HELP" 4/16/2019
People will push and shove,
But will never stop when you say you've had enough.
They'll laugh when you fall to the ground,
Even your "friends" won't stick around.
Hit the ground with blood from your nose,
Go to school and nobody knows,
The pain you face here and at home.
So you start to roam.
Sitting at your desk with low self-esteem,
Wishing your life was just some bad dream.
Getting off the bus for the house awaiting you,
Rushing to your room before your parents change their minds about telling you to shoo.
I wish I had somebody who cares about my day,
Someone to talk to when I'm not okay.
But I have no one since they all leave,
I need help, somebody, please.

2/10/2022 Depression.
Heavy weight upon my chest
As I lay here in my bed
My mind is a storm, a mess
Depression is filling my head.
Days blend together, gray and dull
My body feels weak
My thoughts were a constant lull
As tears roll down my cheeks.
I try to fight this heavy pain
But it drags me further down
I'm lost in a place of constant strain
And I can't seem to come around.
I know I should keep fighting
For a glimmer of hope to be found
I'll keep searching for some lighting
In this dismal place life has me bound.
So I'll take this day-by-day
And hold onto each small victory
I'll fight for a better way
And find some peace, some sort of clarity.

2/23/2023 Self Hatred
To look in the mirror fills me with dread
All I see is a body I truly dread
Every d-mn curve ns line brings me pain.
This body once held so much pride
Now makes me want to hide
The constant voices in my head
Remind me of everything I'm not and dread.
I despise every inch of my skin
Hate the person that I became within
My reflection shows each flaw
I can't bear the sight of it anymore.
This loathing that keeps growing inside
Makes it hard to feel any pride
My mind is my own worst enemy
It's a constant battle with no remedy.
I try to love myself as I am
But it's hard when I feel like a shattered gem
I need to see past my own doubt
To see the beauty I'm truly about.
I know it won't be an easy fight
But I know deep down I'm worth the fight
I must learn to see me for who I am
Embrace my flaws, imperfections, and all.

His smile shines so bright,
It fills my heart with light.
His laugh laugh is like a song,
I could listen to him all day long.
His eyes shine like the stars;
A shade of green like emeralds.
His beauty I cannot compare
I can't help but stare.
His love is more precious than any gem,
I'll cherish it until the very end.
With him, I feel safe and free,
In his arms is where I long to be.
He truly makes my life sublime.

My love for you is like the ocean blue,
A love so strong my heart is not scared to lose.
A love so true its meant to last a life,
A love that grows, a love that's ever rife.
My love for you is like the morning star,
A love so bright it shines from far.
A love so sweet it melts my soul within,
A love that's rare, a love that's never slim.
My love for you is like the sun and the moon,
A love so divine my heart takes flight too soon.
A love so kind, it touches all around.
My love for you is love that I'll always keep for you.
