cutegore/cutecore hate </3

Alright, let’s talk about something that's been on my mind for a while: cutecore and cutegore. If you're into these styles, you probably know how much hate they can get. But honestly, that hate is totally undeserved. As someone who's super into both, I feel like I need to set the record straight and explain why people should just chill out about them.

So why do people hate on cutecore and cutegore? I think a lot of it comes from misunderstanding. People see the horror elements in cutegore and freak out, thinking it’s all about being creepy or gross. But it’s really not that deep. It’s just another way of expressing creativity. Think about it: Kawaii is super popular, and it’s just the Japanese word for “cute.” No one has a problem with kawaii stuff, so why should cutecore and cutegore be any different? They’re just different flavors of the same concept—finding beauty in different kinds of aesthetics.

Now, let’s get into something specific that cutecore gets a lot of hate for. Some people claim it’s an overconsumption and “whitewashed” version of Japanese kawaii culture. They say it’s like we’re taking something unique and making it mainstream in a bad way. But honestly, that makes no sense.

First off, cultural exchange has always been a thing, and it goes both ways. Japanese kawaii culture itself was influenced by Western cartoons and characters. Plus, cutecore isn’t about erasing kawaii culture; it’s about celebrating cuteness in all its forms. It’s not like there’s one right way to enjoy cute things.

One of the coolest things about cutegore is the people you meet in the community. I’ve talked to many cutegore girls, and let me tell you, they are some of the most psychologically impressive people I’ve ever met.

They have a deep understanding of scarier themes and the metaphors behind them. They don’t just slap blood on cute things for shock value; they’re exploring deeper concepts about fear, vulnerability, and the dark sides of human nature. It’s like they’re using cutegore to confront and process complex emotions and ideas, which is pretty amazing if you think about it. These girls get what it means to look at the darker side of life and still find beauty and meaning in it. Now sure, there really are some people who do indeed slap some blood on an anime girl and call it a day but think about it, that really wasn't to complex was it? Exactly, and it doesn't effect you so chill tf out.

At the end of the day, cutecore and cutegore are just ways for people to express themselves. Everyone has different tastes and interests, and that’s what makes the world so interesting. Just because someone likes adding a bit of blood and horror to their cute stuff doesn’t mean it’s bad or wrong.

i agree! as a cutegore girl i find beauty in blood! i dont think abt it as a violent thing, but as a vital thing, without it no one can be alive for a spare second, and the gore is not only used to cope with my trauma, but also since i was a child i enjoyed and found beauty in it! and like i said im not disgusted at all bcs its our bodies and our blood! everyone has a way of defying beauty, and for us its the cutesy gore and blood!
