Why is the internet so comforting?

Just something about being able to talk to someone without actually having to talk to them is so relaxing. I love having conversations with people without the whole awkward eye contact or having to meet up, like you can talk to anyone anywhere. I wish I could spend forever on the internet I hate the outside world, I hate people, I hate nature, I hate having to leave my house it’s so tiring.
