languages??

can we talk about how weird it is to speak 2 languages?

i think in German, and I speak it at home, but when I'm out around the world and at school and even with my friends, they all know me as an English speaker.

and even sometimes forget words in each language or just say the German version of English words, like I say mutter instead of mom or mommy, and I don't say English nicknames, I have this one friend who I call perle, never will call her pearl
