Creating a language: Day 1

Most people might think, "Seriously, creating your own language? That's crazy!" But here I am, determined to prove them wrong. Not only am I going to do it, but I'm also setting up a website where anyone can submit their ideas for new words, grammar rules, and more.

I started by blending English with Spanish, aiming for a sound similar to cute Japanese when spoken. After compiling references, I dove in, jotting down translations for Spanish pronouns and gradually expanding to verbs and nouns. In just one day, I've translated over 100 words.

Realizing I couldn't do it alone, I had a lightbulb moment: make it open source. Anyone worldwide can contribute translations through a dedicated webpage. So, I began crafting a GitHub Pages site using HTML with ChatGPT's help.

This webpage will serve as a hub for the language, allowing suggestions for words, grammar, spelling, and pronunciation rules. Using an Excel sheet, I've translated Spanish into what I've dubbed "Kawaiinese" and coded the page to understand it.

Currently, the page is basic, featuring only a title and a text field for inputting Spanish words. If translated, it displays the result; if not, it prompts users to suggest a translation. However, this system is still a work in progress.
