reaching the end of the first year of senior high school

jesus christ. i'm cramming so much stuff rn (especially translating my research into filipino christ alive) but i thought i'd sit donw and make a blog post, because why not? it is 2 in the morning, and i'm ready to make tiny reflections about my shs life.

where to start? i went into grade 11 not knowing what it had for me, or if i'd even make friends. first day was a bad start: i knew no one there, and they didn't know me. so, i sat, alone, during lunch and all throughout the day. i remember it vividly. it was awful. then, they started talking to me, and they actually liked me enough to be my friend?

then one of them liked me enough to be more than my friend. crazy, i know.

then i joined an org, which caused me to compete in a press conference, which is crazy. it got me more friends and even gave me a whole new family which i didn't know was possible.

got on the honors despite my school's crazy system. crazy crazy.

THEN I MADE A FILM!! A FILM!!! well, a short film, but it won 2nd place AND i won the best screenplay alongside a friend of mine! i'm on my way to writing the sequel!!! oh my god im so excited.

but now, finals is less than a week away, and i still have a lot of pending assignments.

i cannot wait for prom.
