Sometimes when I talk to my friends about the stuff we used to watch when we were younger, I end up thinking about all the old religious shows I used to watch and just how weird they were.
Like yea, there's VeggieTales, but then there's the Donut Man which was just a guy with a donut puppet named Duncan who talked to kids about how God will fill the hole in your heart like how a donut hole would fill Duncun.
And then there's the Dooley and Pals Show which was just this alien and robot who came to earth to learn about god. Like Barney but religious and not a purple dino but this, creme-colored creature with bee antennae and a red, yellow, and black space suit thing.
And like whenever I remember them it's like unlocking a part of my brain that I didn't even know was there, like some "you gotta be this lvl to get this memory". Welllll, all except Dooley and Pals, younger me really hated that show for no reason so it's been in the back of my mind for a while lol.
