About Internet dramas

There are more and more dramas on the Internet every day..What really scares me so much? But on the other hand:
- "Hooray, a new drama in the background! What happened to people there again?" 

          !!  I will speak for the art community, because I am a member of it! !!

It's more about THAT! in the community, I notice big scandals about "skin color", "proportions", "correcting someone else's art", etc. Perhaps I can understand the "scandals" about skin color, sometimes there really is not enough diversity, especially if you read into the history of the world.But on the other hand, guys, why is it so necessary for many WHITE people to change their skin color to dark.. When is it completely inappropriate? 
(Maybe..I sound like some kind of racist right now, but kamon guys, my character has red skin in general, and there are quite a lot of dark ones in my environment (Х_Х))

You can understand people who make THEIR OWN alternate universe where such a turn of events is appropriate and explained, but when people say:
- My CoRrEcTeD dRaWiNg Is NoW a NeW cAnOn (ﾉಥ益ಥ)ﾉ -
                                                                                                   ..This is at least strange...

Wherever you look in the art community, you can practically see through art some kind of corrected work where the character does not look like himself. For me, this is wild, because, are you seriously offended by the character? nightmare..And I always have a question -

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM WITH MAKING YOUR CHARACTER BASED ON THE WORLD OF THIS CARTOON/GAME/MOVIE/BOOK??

Perhaps I was not so full of my knowledge that I could understand this highlight of correcting other people's characters (without the author's request, without any explanation of why and why, and without any observance of the canons ..) everything can be. If there are people who understand this and can explain it, please give a sign!! 
(I apologize in advance if suddenly my thought sounded rude/insulting and in that spirit, I got a little heated - I admit right away, + as a person from another country, I can't understand exactly why this problem is raised so high in the more western side of the world? And + isn't this the downside of racism?))
