Absolutely ALL Microsoft Office/365 applications

Hello ladies and gentlemen, today I have decided to make a compilation of all Microsoft Office applications, I will talk about each of them, their function and so on. I really had a lot of work looking for information from each app one by one, so I would appreciate your congratulations and/or feedback. Thank you

1. Admin: Also known as Microsoft 365 Admin is an application that is only available for smartphones, it is recommended for business, since this way you will have more control of everything related to Microsoft 365, it will allow you to be productive, receive notifications, manage devices, change things and much more. With Admin you can add, edit, block or delete users, reset passwords, assign roles, or manage aliases and devices. It is an application that can prove to be very useful for many people.

2. Advertising: Also known as Microsoft Advertising Editor, it is an application available only on smartphones, Advertising will allow you to keep control of your advertising campaigns, you will always have all your accounts at hand easily, from the application you can update things easily, it is an application which is only for companies and as a curious fact, Advertising used to be Bing Ads

3. Access: It is a program that helps manage databases, this application is the successor of Embedded Basic. Access is connected with other applications such as Excel, Sharepoint, OneNote, etc. Access is used to collect data, it can be used in both a business and personal environment, for example, Access can help manage a store, where in a database are all the customers, their orders, the items in the store and much more, it is an application that is simple to understand and very useful.

4. Delve: It is an application similar to Admin, with Delve you will be able to manage your Microsoft 365 profile and discover and organize the information. With Delve you can share Microsoft 365 files with each other, for example, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote documents, etc.

5. Exchange: Also known as Exchange Server is a Collaborative Software program, where you can collaborate with other users through it, it is an application intended for the use of servers, it is connected with Outlook, as it is considered as a Mail Server peer.

6. Excel: It is an application which helps users to easily create spreadsheets, these can be linked to data, within the application you can do many mathematical problems, it has a programming language, a special version of the Visual Basic language, specifically the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) version with which macros and others can be programmed. Excel is one of the 3 most popular Office programs, and it is the most widely used application in the world for creating spreadsheets.

7. Forms: It is an application with which you can make online surveys and forms, similar to Google Forms, it is simple and easy to use, with a wide variety of functions, in addition, the data can be exported to Excel.

8. Lens: It is an application that serves as a PDF scanner, only available on smartphones. The app allows you to convert images to file .pdf, .doc, .pptx, .xlsx, and more. Lens is a very useful app with potential.

9. OneNote: It is an application with which people can create Notepads and Sticky Notes, notes can be shared with other users, OneNote is an application which is linked to almost all other Office applications, where in most apps it shows a button that says Send to OneNote. OneNote is strongly linked in the Windows Sticky Notes app, and interestingly, Microsoft has tried on several occasions to get people to use OneNote, although it's still not as popular as other Office apps like Word.

10. Outlook: It is an application which serves as an email manager, Outlook replaced Microsoft Live Hotmail, although you can still make accounts which end in @hotmail.com. With Outlook, you can send and receive emails just like any other email server. You can make an Outlook account where @outlook.com or @hotmail.com will be displayed at the end of it. With their most recent update they have made Outlook replace the Windows Mail, Calendar and Contacts applications, where now all that will be unified in Outlook, the application is in pre-deleted version and is called Outlook (new)

11. PowerPoint: It is an application with which you can make beautiful presentations, whether for business, personal or student environment, PowerPoint is for everyone. PowerPoint is really easy to use, it has a high range of animations and transitions, within the presentations users can add shapes, icons, graphics, images, and much more. It is used globally for its simplicity and ease of use, and it is one of the 3 most popular Office applications.

12. Publisher: It is a Desktop publishing program, this is similar to Word, but somewhat more basic, it gives a simple editing history, similar to Word, the application is made in itself for Marketing, business use, with it you can create publications, brochures, cards, images and much more; In addition, it has a high variety of pre-installed templates, but if you don't find what you're looking for it doesn't matter, since on its website there are even more templates to download. Actually, Publisher is an application which is not widely used today, it is considered as a low-cost alternative for those who cannot pay a professional, but even so, it is a very good application.

13. Project: It is a project management software which gives multiple functions for the creation of projects and plans, allocates resources, tasks, tracks progress, manages the budget and much more. Project must be downloaded separately, it does not come included in an official Office package, but must be downloaded separately just like Visio, in its Professional version.

14. SharePoint: Formerly known as Microsoft Groove is an application which serves as a content management system, it is a business collaboration platform, SharePoint brings with it many features for a company. SharePoint is made to be used commercially for companies, although it is also possible to use it personally (although it is not used as much personally)

15. Sway: It is a program that allows you to make slideshows in a similar way to PowerPoint, but with the characteristic that it is online and allows you to work collaboratively. Sway also allows you to make web pages where you can add resources such as images easily and quickly, since it allows you to upload images locally or by other pages such as Bing. All the jobs that are done in Sway will be saved in a cloud, where when you log in from any device you will be able to find all the jobs done by that online account.

16. Teams: It is a communication application, with which you can make group video calls, in addition, Teams is an instant messaging client, since it allows users to chat either in a chat call or in the normal chat without the need to be in a video conference. Teams can be used for business, education, and personal, and you can pay for upgrades to Teams. Teams is connected to other Office apps, most notably Outlook, where you can easily schedule Teams meetings with Outlook. Teams was very popular for its simplicity, design and ease of use, in addition, you can create different groups, which is why for schools in the pandemic era it was one of the most used applications in the world.

17. Visio: It is a drawing program; through Visio we will be able to make vectors with shapes and other tools of the program. Visio brings with it a high range of interesting templates, in addition, it also brings many drawing functions to create professional vectors, nowadays not many people use Visio, but it is a good alternative if you do not get another program. Visio, like Project, is not available in any official Office package, so you will have to download and install it manually from its official website in the Professional version.

18. Word: It is an application which serves as text editing, Word is easy and simple to use, it contains a high range of tools to compose text, with Word you can make professional documents, it also contains a smart spell checker included, Word also contains a high variety of templates to make professional, simple and beautiful documents. In fact, Microsoft Word is the #1 text editing software in the world for its simplicity and ease of use, and that's why it's one of the 3 most popular Microsoft Office applications, in fact, arguably the most popular of all.

19. Yammer: A social network dedicated solely to business purposes, Yammer is a private social network, where only people with approved email addresses can join. It's a business app and it's NOT for personal use, Yammer is only for businesses, and it's not like other social networks like Facebook, Instagram, X or any of those modern social networks, Yammer is a special social network, one of the most interesting Office apps in my opinion.
