I thinlk emo culture died when ppl started saying "__core" to any style ever like scenscore bs and omfg it sux ass. IDK i think ppl arguing what bands are emo is also such a huge part of it even tho thats existed since the dawn of emo. i hate social media culture now sm omlllllll
Every subculture thats been previously popularised gets made fun of within not even a year of it being popular
also I just dropped a joint and I cant find it so Im pissed now. Thx for coming to my TED talk!

emo is short for emotional hardcore anyway we don't need another core on it!!! and the 'hardcore' part comes from the hardcore punk in emo's origins!!!!!!!!
and i am SO tired of 'this is emo, this is emo, this isn't emo' like who cares anyway just listen to what sounds good. genres are fake. i guarantee these people would say 'not emo' if i showed them the early emo bands who influenced the sound in the first place.......
notso clued up on scene but 'scenecore' is so weird to me. 4 lettersw ith exactly zero purpose added on a word no one was complaining about
