i know im one month late to this but i got a 3ds LL from amazon jp for around $375 on the 6th of april! (brand new! but overpriced imo)

im quite happy with this purchase as it is my very first 3ds (i grew up with the ds lite but never got a 3ds when it first came out). although everything is in japanese, i am still fine with it and wont be planning on modding it anytime soon (might just get another 3ds for modding if i were to get into all that shazam).

i have bought some games which are pokemon y, pokemon moon, animal crossing new leaf and pokemon plat which are all very fun games indeed but i did face some very unpleasant things.

for a start, the pokemon platinum copy i bought off ebay for like $75 was not authentic and i was pretty down when i got it checked... on the other hand pokemon moon isnt working properly for me as the contact pins were damaged? (fyi - i got all my games off ebay). pokemon y and new leaf were working as intended except for the fact that new leaf was only in japanese so i didnt understand anything lol.

finding out that my copy of platinum was fake, i went on ebay to buy another copy while making sure its actually genuine. i found one for $125 and started grinding on it to make up for the fact that i poured a decent amount of time onto the fake cartridge.
