I'm still in college, and I just finished my junior year. I'm proud of myself for getting this far.
but I can't help but feel scared for the future. The job market was already terrible for millennials, and it's worse for people my age (gen z) who are just getting out of school and into the job market.
and it's bad; the job market is so scarce, and these companies are asking people with experience (like 5+ years for a job) when they should be hiring young people so that they can revitalize and bring in new ideas for the company that people can still have their jobs. but it's so shitty, and it's even worse due to COVID.
Maybe I have it easier because I want to become a paralegal, but that doesn't stop me from being terrified of getting out of school and not being able to find a job for months and even years after I left school.
