Ubuntu 10.04

Who else think this was a peak for Ubuntu in terms of design ? Perfect version of Gnome (fortunaly Mate exists now) and a really beautiful theme.


I also miss Compiz :(

Yes! MATE is good, but something about GNOME 2 is just brilliant.

Aren't they basically the exact same ? I mean, aside from possible compatibility issues, it's the exact same no ? (at least from my experience)

They are. But I the QOL improvements take away from some of the nostalgia . Long live 10.04!
