my toxic friend should i stop being friends with her? (I gave my friend a fake name)

Ok so me and Alex have been friends since I was in 7th grade. I'm now in 8th grade and she’s in high school now. A couple of days ago my sister said that She and Alex aren't friends anymore so I asked why and she said it was because Alex said Lilly left the group chat because of her being toxic. So my sister said no it was because of her and then Alex sent a whole ass essay about how she was being toxic. Then I gave Alex a birthday gift for my friend who is also in high school because I couldn't and she never gave it to her. She kept it for herself. And when we got into an argument because Alex watches the same thing every time she comes over and we told her to stop and she called me fake and left my house. she also gave Lilly microbangs and she looked so upset but when lilly wanted to go to a different hair stylist Alex said no i’ll do your hair all you need is me obviously Lilly didn’t listen and when she showed Alex she was like i doesn’t look better then mine. Also when we went to the mall she put stolen items in my bag so if the alarm thing went off I would get in trouble.
