Fear of the Flesh

Fear of the Flesh 

is as inherent to human nature as anything else; 

Fear of Blood and Entrails 

things of all disgusting 

and unusual natures. 

What gives us our presence on earth

is what we remain most afraid of.

To undo the human body, 

split sternum 

and gaze upon the very essence 

of the body; 

the heart; 

half of the soul on earth;

is to know horror. 

It is to see the unseen. 

You aren't supposed to be seeing this

the fact you are

means something very wrong 

is happening before you.

Yet...

To clear the human body 

of its meat; 

marbled with fat... 

doesn't it look just like 

a high grade beef?

How wonderful that is...

We are the same yet again...
