I genuinely turned this in as part of an essay:
Why do people so young have to decide what degree they want to get, for a job they are expected to work their whole life at?
Why is it so difficult to pick hobbies and extracurriculars that are fun but not something that people think is weird?
Why is it so hard to sit down and focus long enough to get homework done and turned in on time?
It's so much easier to just not think about it! Put off thinking about college until late at night when you're laying in bed thinking about how loud you laughed earlier at that joke you heard and how annoying you seemed, don't worry about it until it's eating you alive trying to imagine yourself in 5 years when all you want to worry about is being happy.
Just don't pick any extracurriculars or hobbies at all! If you just avoid the embarrassment you won't have to deal with it ever again, just try harder. Who cares if you're unhappy and bored? You're not embarrassed and that's all that matters!
You're worried about homework? It won't seem that important if you just forget about it! Who cares about turning work in on time when you can just never do it at all? Who cares anyway! You don't even know where you're going to college yet anyways so what does it matter if you don't have amazing grades or astounding talents?
Just forget about it, put your computer and notebooks away, just scroll on social media for 3 hours straight instead! I know there's nothing there that interests you and some of it just makes you feel worse but it's better than doing the things you don't want to do.
