im so fucking scared about my fist job

Im 19 years old and Im a business administration student, I have never had the need to have a job but lately I feel like starting to be a little more financially independent from my mom

Yall know, like "heyo mum can I have 15 dollars to go out?" or "please please buy me that shirt I loved it" I mean, I'm an only child and I've always been a little bit spoiled, but I think I'm too old for that shit now

I really want to get things like tattoos or piercings that she would never pay for me, but more importantly than that, I would really love to develop financial intelligence before I start my major internships and be able to contribute money to my house because it would just feel good to contribute to it

Im afraid and maybe it is normal for me to be, since I was a little girl I have seen how the vast majority of adults are unhappy in their work and I am starting to notice how my friends stop having a good portion of time so that they cannot be always together because they also start to have their own jobs

As potential young adults who are using this stuff to remember the myspace era or as people who are fans of the vibes of those times like me, what could you recommend or advise me? What anecdotes, good and bad, do you have from your first jobs to tell me?
