Staying out of politics

Recently I've been trying to stay out of politics a bit and I honestly feel like it's been super good for me and I'd recommend it. Obviously I don't stay out of politics entirely since I feel like that's impossible or very hard to do and I make sure to check in and keep up with the current political climate since you should be aware of what's going on in the world. However I pay attention to it a lot less and I've engaged less and less with political discourse both online and IRL. Before I was very political and kept up and engaged with this stuff constantly and it was actually the most exhausting and tiring shit ever.
