Heyy so just hopping on again to do another video game review in anticipation of sims 5 (please release quickly I neeed lol).
So Sims 4, who is it for? Who is it not for?
Sims 4 is a really good game if you're like me and like meticulousness and overall control (I'm such a control freak this game calms my nerves in that aspect haha). I personally think that it does have a really good range of clothing items and the game is super malleable to fit your aesthetic. If you're a pc gamer then you're in luck because the mods for this game are by far the most aesthetic I've ever seen, and really make the game feel even more in depth and alive.
Now the game can get frustrating but for the first like 3 hours of a session in my opinion it's pretty soothing. Personally I think the best pack that you can buy is the pets one because it adds a whole other realm to the game, like a whole other department of the family I guess.
Overall if you're not into meticulous aesthetics and designing and general customisation over your own world, the game wouldn't be your favourite, but I cannot suggest it enough, especially for fashionistas of course, because having multiple outfit slots means spending as long as you like perfecting outfits for each occassion.
Also a great game for future interior designers, as the game gives you a whole library worth of suggested rooms to work off of, as well as being able to create your own from scratch.
Oh, the game is also super fun if you're psychotic like me hahaha, you can do some crazy shit even just with the base game, and with mods..pretty much everything is possible in that game.
Anyway as always I hope this review gave you more insight into the type of games you like, and helps guide you in the direction of your next fav game x <3

Yeah, this is also how I feel about the game :0 it’s for people who like designing and stuff
The online Sims community seems to despise the game due to it being “bland” and not letting your Sims be their own people, and I personally can’t say much on that since a lot of the hate is due to Sims 4 being compared to other past Sims games, which I’ve never played lol
I indeed don’t really like the game due to those reasons + I’m NOT a customization type of person at all haha so I rarely, if ever, play the game. However, I can’t deny that the game definitely has its visual aspects to it, especially with how much you can control it, too. With mods added in, I get the appeal. My older cousin loves those types of games and completely filled my laptop with clothing/hairstyle/accessory/etc. mods LMAO
I dunno if it’s a “bad” game, imo, more so that maybe it’s just not for me (and many others’ tastes)
