Hello, here I just want to tell you my experience and what I found in different forums and others on the internet. It turns out that I use Windows (like most) and I'm a fan of retro, so sometimes I made my PC that had Windows 10 look like a Windows Vista for example (if I ever did), and in fact it looked great, it will never be perfect but very good. But there is a very serious problem, and that is that if you have a low-resource PC then by customizing your PC this will make it slower. Because? Well, the answer is simple, when we are going to customize our PC we need several third-party programs, for example:
- Classic Shell/Open Shell
- TaskbarX
- ScreenStyler
Well, this is just an example, but according to Bing these are the most popular customization programs, because it turns out that these programs, not all of them but many use a lot of resources, and also these start when you open Windows, so from opening the PC it is already slow. What am I getting around with all this? Well, basically I don't recommend you to personalize your PC if it is low-resources, I'll tell you an experience:
I installed Windows 11 on my PC, but by force, so it didn't meet the basic requirements of the system, so it was relatively slow, but one day it occurred to me to install a Windows XP theme, I installed the icon pack, the start menu, the taskbar, the Luna theme, It was BEAUTIFUL!, but it didn't last even 2 days (seriously) because basically it was extremely slow, it turned on so slow that I counted it with the stopwatch on my cell phone, and it lasted 4 minutes...4 MINUTES ON!, that couldn't go on like this, so I uninstalled everything, and it went back to normal and shortly after I went back to Windows 10 :)
Moral of the story: Don't install a customization theme on your PC if it's low-resource

EVEN WHEN MY CURRENT SYSTEM glitches i can fix it on average in less then 3 minutes more extreme cases 15 minutes, but never all day.

I do love my linux, i think its just because, at leas ty version the way i styled it has got that windows 95 vibe not that i love the way win 95 worked or VIsta, Win 95 was my first computer i bought with my own money as a grown up, and i have a fondess for it and that iconic startup sound, when we came to vista i downgraded to xp for ever until 7 or 8 came out then i ignored everything after that as long a si can, then i got Lubuntu, I did love Mint for a while and i tried a few of them but i been using lubuntu for three years, and i can run 90% of my windows programs most of the time. so i like that.
