This movie was absolutely insane and had my jaw on the floor almost throughout it's entirety. It's an A24 film so I can't say I didn't expect some of the insane events that took place, but it was still insane nonetheless. For starts I took a point off the film for it being 3 hours long, not that I'm just a hater of long movies, but for something this insane to go on for so long with the ending it got was unfair. Also watching the entire film in one sitting was a little overwhelming, but I think it was worth sticking around to see what happens toward the end. Not that I felt it made much sense, but I had been told that the movie doesn't exactly have an entire plot. It's just very.. interesting. Brace yourself, but Joaquin Phoenix is an incredible actor and plays every roll he gets well, so he also makes it more worth the watch. This movie definitely isn't for everyone though, I very much understand those who dislike it.
