5yr(+) Minecraft World

Me and friends from long ago have a Minecraft world that's still up to this day, roughly created around 2019, I remember us being so excited for the upcoming Nether update and everything it would change. For newer minecraft players, the Nether used to just be basically fire and brimstone, nothing like it is now (and man, do I also really miss the pigmen from the piglins we have now)

Our server fell into disuse rather quickly, by like 2022 I was the last one playing it :( I don't even speak to the friends who used to be my besties as of '24. I wonder how they're doing a lot and miss them often, but I can still remember the times we spent together by visiting their old houses ingame fondly. I want to hear from them again someday. We started by building a whole village together, living in a collective area before everyone logged out for the last time

The first house I built came from humble beginnings, I had a vague grasp on what they should sort of look like, after many dirt huts with oak doors in my past lol. It was simple inside but worked. I didn't have much consideration for needing space for enchanting, or storage, and just built mostly freely. 

The little Minecraft world was super lonely and even I was hardly touching it, bored of going it solo and uninspired. Eventually around late 22' I invited my German friend on to join and we reignited the place. I made a new and improved house and also discovered the use of shaders. This was the beginning of our grand village plan, to make a habitable space for the villagers to roam freely but also make various creative buildings

The train station, connecting the old village made with my original friends, to the new and improved mountain village nearby. The tracks are still in works, but it wraps around a ravine I mostly hand dug and decorated.
