Snow

As I lay on my island of exile I see the snow falling and my mind goes back to our first winter together, do you remember?

We went outside to measured the snow, it was 4 1/2 inches, we took the cats out to the patio to walk in it, they both hated it. We made coffee and sat on the couch and shared a blanket and just listened to the silence and the fire. That moment made me realize how in love I was with you. Someday you'll send the ship and I'll come home.
