if you call yourself a metalhead and - 

• listen to less than three metal subgenres (nu metal & metalcore excluded);
• dress the part without listening to the music;
• positioned anywhere from centrist to rightist politically (with respect to heavy metal's punk roots; listening to NSBM is OK as long as it is not the only bm subgenre you listen to or actively support);
• hate being corrected or admit that you're wrong (yes, Deftones listeners. I'm looking at you);
• been in the metal scene for less than 1 year;
• is against basic gatekeeping;
• throw around the word "elitist", "underground"& ask people to "name 3 songs"...

If you're a metalhead who do not agree with my definition of a poseur, you're the abomination why gatekeeping failed. these standards are so loose and basic - they go without saying. Stop exposing yourself in the comments I can't pin them all.
