i'm curious (& admittedly bored) soo if anyones willing drop your hot takes, controversial opinions, whatever, do it!!
ill go first:
- I think the idea of trying to find, explore, and investigate other planets is stupid. We've got our own planet -- Earth -- and I see no reason as to why we're trying to go to Mars. If our planet really is as fucked as everyone says (clearly it is,) and most things are hitting the fan by 2050, we've still got 26 more years left to reverse our fate. Instead of funding space exploration, fund petitions, organizations, and other communities that are trying to make a difference.
- Minimum wage should be higher to accommodate current living conditions
- I think abortion is okay. I know that it can have mental side effects and that it is a very serious decision to make, however, the choice is up to the person. People who harass those going to clinics to get check-ups, seek counseling, or get abortions are assholes. They should mind their own business instead of throwing signs in people's faces saying they'll be cursed or whatever with damnation.
- I don't like the idea of traditional living. I see the joke about women/girls saying they'd rather be housewives & ill be honest I joke about it too (school hard asf guys 😭) but w/o women's suffrage we'd be living in the 21st century where women in several countries still wouldn't have the right to vote, wouldn't be able to work, and would be expected by society to cook, clean, and care for their children.
I'm not shaming anyone who lives like this, however, I don't think it's something to seriously think about. Thousands of people fought for what this generation has and to joke about going back to what they went through is disrespectful and ungrateful imo. - People who complain about immigrants or immigration are ignorant. If anyone has read about how Gen Z feels about kids, specifically having them, you know most of us have collectively come to the mutual agreement that, in this economy, it's just not reasonable nor responsible to have kids.
IMO the only reason why the U.S. hasn't gotten as bad as China or Korea is because of immigration. The influx of people from other countries, who bring extended family and children, are keeping our demographic of the nation's population from becoming completely unbalanced.
(in case you don't believe me, the Total Fertility Rate ((TFR)) is suppose to be 2.1, which is the average number of children a women needs to give birth to in order to replace herself, w/o the addition of international immigration. The United States is 1.7.) - Europeans have no right to disrespect America without properly visiting or, better yet, living in it. And the same goes vise versa -- us, Americans, would be just as confused and baffled by the European experience as Europeans would be by the American experience.
- Japan honestly isn't that great. The stereotypical perspective Americans have boxed it into as being "cute/'kawaii'" and an anime weeb paradise need to pick up a book and do some research. It used to be communist, millions of people died during that time, and when Japan infiltrated China and tried to unite several Asian countries under Japanese rule even more people died. Soldiers were ordered to kill innocent Chinese civilians, they made bets on how many they could kill, and the list goes on.
People who think Japan is a cutesy little island are wrong, and the same goes for every single country. Just because you have a warped perspective that living in "x" country would be great, doesn't mean its true. You have to take into account its history. No place is as great as it seems. - America isn't the only country that's racist.
- Learning another language, other than your native one, is important.
- LGBTQ+, Black, and other race-specific history should be taught in schools on an international level. Every child, in every country, should have access to these things seeing as they've become such a hot topic for everybody. They should be educated on pronouns, sexual identity, Black history, Indigenous history, etc: all the bad and the ugly.
If we don't want to repeat history, we have to learn why it was wrong in the first place. And a kid isn't going to know calling a Black person the n-word is wrong unless they're properly educated on the matter and how offensive it really is. It's our responsibility to better the world, and it starts with the current youngest generation: Gen Alpha.

Baccara
these are the ones i can remember rn
1- society should be more open to educate and give new opportunities to people in jail, some of them are only there because they grew with no good opportunities or chances around and unfortunaly commiting crimes was the only way they saw to give themselfs/their family basic things;
2- people who abuse/k1ll vulnerable people(deficients, kids, women) should be killed, idgaf;
3- every country in the world should be secular, religion shouldnt have impact on the goverment decisions;
4-abortion shouldnt be illegal at all, some people arent in favor of the legalization because of their religion;
and i dont remember other ones :)

WARNINGS: Avoid breathing the spray mist.
I agree with all ur opinions but I have some more which aren't rlly as srs tho
1. Doing childish things as an adult shouldn't be as looked down upon (unless it's straight up creepy or harming someone) line for example if I want to read a book like Diary of a Wimpy Kid or Dog Man I shouldn't be seen as a weirdo or say if someone wants play with car toys or spiderman ones or something
2. It shouldn't be an insane thing to guy if a girl doesn't wear a bra. It's literally just some padding and a piece of fabric if they don't want to wear it they don't need too.
3. Having long hair should be more normalised for guys. I have long hair, I just like the way it looks + I'm not bothered to cut it.
4. Burping shouldn't be seen for as gross as it is. People say ts the same type of gross as farting and I can understand why but it doesn't smell unless you have bad breath and it's literally impossible to drink a fizzy drink without burping.
5. Drug addicts shouldn't be treated rudely and should be treated in a kinder way which might sound a bit odd but it's harder to stop an addiction when everyone is insulting you rather then helping you and treating you with love and care.
6. The "men don't cry" thing is the worst phrase known to this planet. Me and many other guys feel as if they can't or will be seen as weak if they do which sucks.
7. Being chubby isn't bad and people shouldn't be bullied for it.
8. Being an asshole to your partner despite having to ability not to is one of the most crazy things because you are literally harming someone who loves you.
9. Stalking needs to be less romanticised because the chance of you getting a hot stalker is probably less than winning the lottery and even if they were hot they most likely wouldn't fall inlove with you and would just straight up abuse or murder you.
10. Skibidi toilet isn't that bad. Sure, the kids who watch it are absolutely insufferable but then again think about the stuff you watched as a kid and how much you would've annoyed people with it.
I have more but I'm not bothered to type them out rn so those r just some basic ones, also pickles suck ass and are the worst food
