my instagram experience 0.0

Hello to the people who are reading this!! (nobody XP)

I decided to make an instagram account because I was curious of what was actually so good about it. Most people I have talked to have an insta account or at least had one in the past. So I thought it would not hurt to give it a try! (Even if I am a little scared of social media.. x_x)
My first account got immediately terminated.
I don't know why, maybe it was because of the age I put in it?
I tried again, and- yes! Despite various sources saying that you should be at least 13+ years old to have an instagram account, I had to set my year of birth to at least 2005. 

Now that I had an account.. what was I supposed to do? I decided to share some of my drawings, and then decided to look at some insta reels. I don't know what I was expecting honestly, except for the standard tiktok format. Only that reels recommended me about 5 VIDEOS OF PEOPLE GETTING RUN OVER BY TRUCKS??? 

I am not kidding. For whatever reason, they decided that the sound of bones cracking, the screams of horrified drivers, all that was safe to put on there. I still wonder why. 5 isn't even an exaggeration, I started to count them after the 2nd one. I decided to stop after a bit since I could not take the sounds of people getting run over by vehicles any longer. Aside from those videos, it was just usual short-form content.

After a little while, I got some comments on my art! Most of them were positive :D Although I also got one that was completely unrelated to my art, calling me the biggest red flag only because I like Lucky Star and Hello Kitty :'( These types of comments are sadly everywhere to be found on the internet, but I did not expect that type of comment in such a short amount of time.

And that was pretty much it! I did not find anything else that interesting, aside from the seemingly unfiltered shorts (I will not even mention the demographic for said shorts (comments)), it was just your standard social media app. :P
