Retrospective of Chrome 0.2, the first version of Chrome (Settings, UI, etc)

Chrome
It's the 5723rd dieversary of Google Chrome's release in beta! (as of today)
To celebrate this, we will do a ramble about Chrome 0.2.149.27.
I've heard that this version crashes in some versions of Windows... Luckily it worked for me in Windows 11, so it should work for you guys.
If you want to download this version, click here! It might get flagged as a virus... but that's Windows Defender being quirky. Credits to BetaArchive!
Also just be aware that it doesn't support TLS 1.3, 1.2, and 1.1. And even if it did, the HTML support on this version is limited... (can't even load up html5test.com, heh!)

Now let's get started!

Le General (settings, UI, etc...)

When you launch it for the first time, the home page is basic.
Here's an example of the homepage in Chrome 0.2.
Chrome Homepage (update your browser if you can't see it!)

Alright, so you can search your history, see your recent bookmarks, and recently closed tabs on the right, your most visited websites on the left, and your bookmarks on the top, if you haven't turned on "Show bookmarks tab everywhere".
Hmm...
kinda looks more useful than the modern one...

There isn't much to talk about the settings, just your usual browser stuff.

Wait just a minute... what is Google Gears?
Google gears (sorry for the cursor blocking the button D:)
Hmm... (clickety clickety clack clack clack clickety)
According to Wikipedia, "Gears, formerly Google Gears, is a discontinued utility software offered by Google to create more powerful web apps by adding offline storage and other additional features to web browsers."

Nothing to really note here after that... Thanks for reading today's blog post! Websites, pages, and compatibility will come next soon after, stay tuned.

Also, please give me some feedback on how I could improve! THX!
